So grateful that in this country women can match muscle power with a loaded weapon. I am so sorry for these women, but they need to teach the men around them a real lesson.

This story is just stunning. Horrifying! I heard it on NPR last night in bed, and I was shaking. Why this took a MONTH to come out is simply amazing to me.

War essentilly is a rape of one country by another. Military dominance has deep instinctive roots. Why do we worship war? We want out of the restraints of society and it's conventions. We have to solve our mind/body problem of repressing instincts and turning them toxic then linking concepts and ideologies validating acceptable collateral damage or just becoming humans gone wild...or else we are going to be the cause of our own extinction, bodies that can't live with their minds and minds that can't live with their bodies.

An assertion of military dominance, dominance which, as with war, appears to be a kind of rape in itself. Wars seem to be driven somewhat by the desire to go over the bounds of social control and sexual repressiveness into unbridled power to do anything they want and sometimes for the vicarious satisfaction of the countryman back home.

When things like this happen over and over and over across the globe it makes me wonder what in the world is wrong with governments that allow this, the perpetrators who do this, and the "families" that reject their wives, mothers, daughters because of it.
We in this country complain a lot, compared to these women, we have very little to complain about.
